Have you heard of online accessories bazaar, Boticca? Well, it all starts with their Style Hunters, who travel continents and cross oceans to discover unique and fun accessories from all over the world. Boticca has added independent brands from all over; including Brazil, France, Japan, and so many other beautiful places. If there is one thing in my bucket list, is to travel every single corner of this planet. However, while I get around to doing so, it is amazing to know that I can still discover designers from all over Planet Earth, shop their pieces, and even contact them with any request to create something more personalized from the comfort of my PJs and home. (You can even shop by destination!)
A while back I was invited to stop by The Cuban restaurant in Hoboken, NJ to try some of their cocktails and new items on the menu. I was really excited to taste some new concoctions and pair them with delicious appetizers and dessert to report back. My idea is that when it comes to cocktailing, no matter how much I love a good drink, the experience as a whole is as important as what is inside your martini glass.
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! What’s on the agenda for you? No matter if you are going on a hot date or planning to spend it with your best friend, a festive outfit to celebrate the day of love and friendship is definitely in order. On my last post, I suggested a less traditional outfit that focused on a blue skirt and a heart-print top to celebrate V-Day. Today, I’m going on a more traditional route.
Valentine’s Day tends to be a day where we gravitate towards wearing reds and pinks. However, it is perfectly ok to wear other colors! Here I went for a black and white outfit with a splash of color brought in by a blue skirt. The look gets festive with a heart print top, lace shoes and a tuxedo jacket. Playing around with fun and sexy prints and textures representative of V-Day, like hearts, lace and satin, will help you make any outfit perfect for your special date.
Last week I was invited to attend the #DinewithDerek event hosted at Manon Restaurant in NYC by Bella NYC Magazine. Celebrity Stylist, Derek Warburton, who I have modeled for on TV in the past, has been named Style Director of the magazine and Thursday night was the big celebration to welcome him on board.
