As a Blogger, I get to try various products, enjoy fun experiences, and new places. Sometimes, it is not possible to share all of these discoveries with you in a blog post. So, I’ve decided to compile a list of the discoveries of the previous month, along with my top blog posts, and Instagram pics so you get a recap all in one place. So, get ready to discover new products and add new places or activities to try in the near future. As December and January are a blur between holidays, days off, and the kick-off of a new year, I decided to share the best of December and January together.
Sweet Home Alabama, where the skies are so blue! That was probably the first thing you thought of when the word Alabama flashed up, right? Same here! A trip down south to the Heart of Dixie would be so fun, but before I start plotting, I wanted to find something beyond the friendly townsfolk and delve into the history and feel of the place. You could spend a vacation in Alabama taking in the glorious sunshine and kicking back with a nice refreshing cocktail, but what is there in terms of the museums and places to get a bit more culture in, while also operating on a healthy budget? It may sound difficult, but it can be done!
We all have an idea of the perfect fellow passenger on a long trip. Sometimes it’s an attractive man or woman that you fall in love with between takeoff and landing. Sometimes it’s a businessperson who reads their magazine and then sleeps the whole way, never saying a word to you. While these passengers represent the ideal, they’re rarely the reality. Oftentimes we’re placed next to people who are rude, loud, or just oblivious. Here are a few tips for dealing with the inconsiderate passengers – that won’t get you kicked off of the plane.

I’ve had an interest in Japanese culture since I was in high school. With its anime, interesting cuisine, and cherry blossoms, Japan quickly climbed to the top of my list of places to visit.
Even though I haven’t yet visited Japan, I believe in dreaming about and researching a destination until I’m ready to plan a trip and cross the seas for a new adventure. I also like to apply this theory to all of my personal dreams and goals. I dreamed and researched until I was ready to move from Puerto Rico to New York City 10 years ago, and I did it again more recently when I moved to Miami and back to New York. But those are stories for another day.
Are you thinking about planning a trip to Japan, too? Book your flight, find a fabulous hotel like the InterContinental Osaka, and add these places to your travel itinerary.
