Do you have the balls to work hard, speak the truth, sip, enjoy and not act like Mary? I mean, unless your name is Mary. Balls Vodka is a premium quality vodka with a sense of fun perfect to shake and stir all your favorite vodka cocktails at home. It also makes for a fun and unique present or hostess gift this holiday season. Add a red bow and you are good to go! Inspired on their Chocolate Balls cocktail, I created this holiday cocktail perfect to find comfort in when you feel like you are tired as balls after all that holiday shopping. Enough with the ball jokes, let’s move to the part we toast and drink! Keep reading for the recipe for this Cinna Chocolate Martini.
Double meaning jokes, pin-up girls, magic balls, vodka… Those are all things I can honestly say I enjoy. So, when Balls Vodka reached out asking me if I’d like to try their 4 times distilled vodka, that’s also made and bottled in New York, I had to yell “Yes!”. (Thank God for e-mail communication.) I guess they were trying to make an impression, because they sent their Super Balls size bottle (That’s a 1.75 liter bottle). Well played, Balls Vodka, well played… The bottle came with some recipes to try, and for the holiday season their Chocolate Balls cocktail caught my eye with its promise of sweetness and simplicity.
However, I was out of white chocolate liqueur and decided to get creative. Chila ‘Orchata is a creamy cinnamon flavored rum that I thought would make the perfect substitute, and… I wasn’t wrong. Cinnamon and chocolate go extremely well together, and Cinnamon’s spark amps the holiday factor in this otherwise basic cocktail recipe.
- 1.5 oz. Balls Vodka
- 1.5 oz. Chila 'Orchata
- 1 Tbsp. Chocolate Syrup
- In a shaker with ice add all ingredients, shake and pour into a chocolate decorated martini glass. Cheers!
*I was sent samples of Balls Vodka and Chila ‘Orchata to try, however I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions are my own.*
