Probiotics are all the rage in the wellness world right now and with good reason! This supplement adds a boost of healthy bacteria to your digestive system aiding in so many wellness problems and concerns. If you haven’t tried adding probiotics to your daily routine; you should. I didn’t have any digestive problems per se, but the more I learned about probiotics, the different things it’s good for, and how we are all in some way or another putting our own healthy bacteria in danger made me jump in the bandwagon. That’s why when Culturelle reached out to try their Digestive Health line of products and report back, I had to sign up.
Why I Started Using Probiotics
I thought a probiotic supplement was a good idea for me, and we are about to get real here, to help in my weight loss journey, in regulating my visits to the bathroom (if you know what I mean), and clear yeast and fungus in the body (specifically in toenails). These personal reasons and what I had learned about probiotics made me say “yes!” to adding the supplement in my life. They are also great for your immune system and skin health. So, if you are concerned about any of these things, get yourself a bottle of Culturelle Probiotics today!
My Favorite Culturelle Probiotic
Only one pill or tablet a day when taking your multi-vitamin or other supplements is all you need to do. I was sold on Culturelle Probiotics when I learned they had chewable orange-flavored tablets with a boost of Vitamin C. As someone who hates to swallow pills (yeah, I’m five!) and loves sneaking Vitamin C (so amazing for your skin and immune system!) into her diet, this was definitely the one to try for me. They are easy to chew, have a tasty orange flavor, and they have become my morning pill routine dessert treat.
Ways to Add More Probiotics to Your Diet
Looking to add more probiotics to your lifestyle? Here are some tips and ideas to do so.
- Start your day with a Greek yogurt smoothie! They are delicious and filling and I have found various flavors to make them in, like peanut butter and honey, berries, pumpkin spice, almond butter and honey, and even Nutella. Interested in me sharing the recipe for one of these? Tell me which one in a comment!
- Grab yourself a box of Culturelle Probiotics and incorporate it into your morning routine. I take mine right after waking up alongside other supplements.
- Incorporate probiotic-rich foods more often into your diet. Snack on kefir drinks, order that miso soup when ordering Chinese takeout, put sauerkraut on that sandwich (don’t heat it up, though!), switch your afternoon coffee or soda for kombucha or an apple cider vinegar drink (I’ve been sharing Cide Road‘s varieties on social media. Follow me on Instagram!), eat more raw cheese, and start playing with tempeh in the kitchen.
