Fall is officially here and it’s the perfect excuse to add some new pieces to your wardrobe. Today, I want to focus our attention on our shoe collection. So, I’ll be sharing my top four fall boot trends. I couple of years back, I got a black leather pair of booties from Cat Footwear that I can’t seem to stop wearing. They match with everything, they are comfortable, and their rubber and chunky heel is the dream of fashionistas who want to wear a heel but need to basically walk everywhere. *ahem* I’m talking to you New York City! Anyway, wearing them once more prompted me to look into this year’s fall boot trends to get my fall shopping on. Keep reading to learn which are my favorite fall boot trends and to shop my selections.
Fall Boot Trend #1: Red
This fall is all about that red flow. Think anything and everything between the spectrum of an apple red to burgundy. So, no matter if you go bright or dark, there’s sure to be a shade of red you’ll love to wear. Love this Sole Society pair because it’s suede, more on the burgundy side of things, and that peep toe plus cutouts make it oh-so-modern!
Fall Boot Trend #2: Metallic
Metallic, shiny, sparkly? Whatever it is, you can count me in! I’ve been wanting a pair of metallic booties for a while now and maybe 2017 is the year I shall go all in and add some metallic goodness to my closet. This pair from Old Navy is the perfect basic metallic number to wear with jeans and a sweater, as well as with a little black dress.
Fall Boot Trend #3: Embellished
Remember counting me in for anything shiny? From bejeweled heels to a whole bedazzled boot or even sequins galore, statement shoes are all the rage right now. This pair from Betsey Johnson it’s “so extra” and I love it!
Fall Boot Trend #4: Velvet
Velvet has been creeping into our fall and winter wardrobes for some time now. Add a bit of the soft and warm material to your shoe game with a pair of velvet booties. I was just talking about needing a pair of leopard print booties and the shoe Gods have answered my prayers with this pair from Dorothy Perkins.
What do you think of these trends? Which one do you want to add to your closet? How many of these pairs you’d like to add to your shoe collection?
