Valentine’s Day tends to be a day where we gravitate towards wearing reds and pinks. However, it is perfectly ok to wear other colors! Here I went for a black and white outfit with a splash of color brought in by a blue skirt. The look gets festive with a heart print top, lace shoes and a tuxedo jacket. Playing around with fun and sexy prints and textures representative of V-Day, like hearts, lace and satin, will help you make any outfit perfect for your special date.
This Valentine’s outfit is actually pretty versatile! I made it more nighttime appropriate by pairing the skirt and top with big, sparkly hoop earrings, a tuxedo jacket, sparkly tights and lace heels. However, if you are going on a more casual date you can pair this same combination with black tights, black boots, a leather jacket, and stud earrings. When using day time friendly fabrics is all about adding layers and accessories that will keep it casual, or, like I did here, glam it up to sparkle all night long.
Check out the pictures below where I’m texting and waiting for my Valentine to pick me up!
