Summer is all about fun in the outdoors, and sometimes these moments can just spontaneously happen. Any great host(ess) will be ready to greet their guests with a fun cocktail and accompanying snack. This is where a cold bottle of Jose Cuervo’s Iced Teagarita will come in handy. Keep reading to learn more about this new product from Jose Cuervo, and how to make a really easy snack to go with it.
In a city where private outdoor space is almost a luxury, I’ve managed to score an apartment with a cute backyard. It has become the perfect spot for me and my friends to enjoy the nice weather while catching up over drinks. Mind you, around 99.9% of these very fun get togethers where we also tend to play music, dance and take Buzzfeed quizzes, are never planned. So, I’ve learned to always have easy things to serve and snack on for when these events occur.
When I heard about Jose Cuervo‘s Iced Tea Margarita I was thrilled to try it. First of all, my favorite drink on the planet is a good Margarita. I think I eat Mexican food so often mostly because I know I’ll be able to treat myself to one. Then, I was really curious to taste how my favorite cocktail would mix with iced tea. Summer is such a great time to drink both of these that the combination seems made in summer heaven! Lastly, it comes pre-mixed in a bottle (yes, alcohol included), so all you have to do is chill, serve, cheer, repeat. Making it great to have in the fridge ready to serve on your next impromptu party. I really enjoyed it’s refreshing taste!
At any party you need to serve at least one snack, as it keeps everyone happy and drinking. I thought that the best companion for Jose Cuervo’s Iced Tea Margarita was a nice guacamole with chips. I love making Guacamole, but sometimes I either don’t have all the ingredients or feel lazy, so… I’ve slowly developed this recipe I like to call Emergency Guacamole. Basically all you need is avocados and any spices you already have in your kitchen like Garlic Powder, Onion Powder or Minced Onion, Sea Salt, Olive Oil, Red Pepper Flakes, and any other spice you think will taste delicious with your avocado. You can also experiment with cheeses like Blue or Feta Cheese crumbles. Mash it all together in a bowl, and serve with chips (I like buying popped ones to save in fat and calories).
Will you be trying Jose Cuevo’s Iced Teagarita this summer? How about getting a bottle to take to your next BBQ outing? Also, be sure to follow Jose Cuervo on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more updates! Cheers, Hauties!
