We are living the last weeks of the summer season, and as the days get a bit cooler, we can get away with incorporating certain items and materials into our wardrobes. Here I give you an idea of how to wear a leather skirt during the summer, and how to transform any top into a crop top. (My favorite!)
I’ve been a leather fan forever now, and as someone who grew up in a tropical island, I had to get creative when buying leather pieces. Take this Ovoloo faux leather skirt as an example. The material is pretty light, it’s short, and the skater skirt design makes it more manageable to wear as your skin has space to breathe in it. These are the three reasons this skirt can work for the summer. During the fall is mostly a no brainer, although you would need to add tights, boots and a top with definitely more coverage than my tank top here.

Now, for the second fashion tip… transforming any top into a crop top! If you want to try the crop top trend without having to actually spend money in a piece that could go either way for you, be happy to know that there are several ways for you to dip your toes in this trend. On the other side, if you love this trend so much that your crop top collection is not enough for you, know that there are even more options already in your closet for you. So, go through your wardrobe and take out any tops that are either button ups or long and loose. Transform a button-up into a crop top by buttoning the first two buttons and tying it in a knot around the waist. Transform a loose/long shirt into a crop top by making a knot at the waist either in the middle, side or back of it. Here I went for a middle knot.
