Glitch Bar: This newly opened bar offers delicious craft beers, creative cocktails, and a selection of classic arcade games, which you can play for free to keep you happy and entertained. Hungry? There’s a rotating fleet of food trucks serving great eats.
Funky Buddha Brewery: This brewery is loved by so many, and it’s the perfect place to explore local beer and enjoy a tour of the premises. If you’re into beer making or anything cocktail-related, this is a great place to explore what Fort Lauderdale has to offer while indulging in a cold one.
Water Taxi: Take a tour of Fort Lauderdale by water! I hear it’s the best way to enjoy all the gossip and 411 about all the properties by the waterfront. This company is also a great resource to learn about even more things to do and places to visit while in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, Florida.
Places to Eat
Rustic Inn Crab Shack: Known for the signature garlic crab, which has been served since 1955, this well-known crab house should become a traditional stop after landing, as it’s very close to the airport. Be sure to try the linguine with homemade sauces and frozen drinks at the bar, too.
J Alexander’s: This restaurant and bar offers a modern atmosphere and serves high-quality, wood-fired American food. Grab a burger or a delicious ahi tuna salad at this boutique-style local chain.
Kaluz: Highly rated by Zagat, this waterfront restaurant offers New American cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere. Grab a cocktail and enjoy it at the outdoor lounge. The Thai salad and fabulous crab dip are some of the best dishes there.
There you have it! I hope this list inspires your next trip or outing in Fort Lauderdale. Have you been to this Florida destination before? If so, please share your favorite spots and restaurants in a comment!
