Raise your hand if, like me, you can never say no to a Margarita. For all of you Margarita fans and enthusiasts, I’d like to let you know that tomorrow is… Drum roll, please… National Margarita Day! I wanted to bring a very different and interesting recipe to try for the occasion, but… It was a terrible experience that I didn’t want to pay forward to absolutely no one. So, instead, I bring a quick and easy classic Margarita recipe made with Casa Noble Tequila, because every Hautie should know how to spontaneously shake a Margarita into existence.
It is so exciting to be working with Casa Noble Tequila to celebrate National Margarita Day together. This ultra premium tequila begins with carefully selected mature Blue Agave plants from where they extract their sweet nectar. They use a 100% natural fermentation process, followed by triple distillation. The result is a tequila so pure and full of Agave flavor that it has elevated the concept of tequila to new levels all around the world. Their bottles are also great decorative additions to your home bar with their smooth shape and pretty colors!
Now, about that classic Margarita… The best way to achieve one is to squeeze fresh limes and sweeten them with Agave or simple syrup. However, if you prefer a quicker route you can use Agave sweetened concentrated lime juice or a natural Margarita mix. These products can be kept in your bar and used for months to come instead of having to run out for fresh limes to squeeze yourself. (Again, natural is always better, but sometimes we like to be able to make ourselves a Margarita without having to get off our comfy clothes.) For this classic Margarita recipe I used the sweetened concentrated lime juice diluted with a bit of water and sweetened even more with half a packet of natural sweetener. Mostly because I like sweeter Margaritas. However, we all have different preferences and you might prefer a more tart version, so feel free to adjust water and natural sweetener depending on your taste.
